School holiday is over and so does our first ever Youth Kairos in West Malaysia. It was successfully conducted in PDMC from 13 – 18 June 2010. We had 13 participants coming from Alor Setar, Ipoh, Klang Valley, Kluang and Muar. Upon completion of the course, when asked how they want their generation to be described, one of the participants shared this with us:
“A generation that is completely sold out to the purposes of God. They forsook comfort, choosing to conquer the last strongholds. This generation established a standard of holiness and righteousness that has never before seen in the history of mankind, impacting nations and transforming societies. They fought and prevailed against injustice while choosing to love unconditionally. They were united and were supportive for one another, willingly laying down their lives for things greater than themselves. They threw away their temporal desire and fought the final battle that brought the end of all ages. This is a generation that advanced the kingdom on their knees and were determined to see God’s kingdom come no matter what it takes. It is the greatest generation that has ever walked the face of the earth throughout history” – Cang Ling
